Monday, September 7, 2020. Labor Day. Just like this year has been, Labor Day is going to be different this year. The COVID-19 virus has changed so many aspects of our lives, and our Labor Day is going to be one of them. There will be no big celebrations or parades this year. However, we will continue on as safely as possible, just like we have been.
As essential workers we have kept our communities supplied with power through good weather and bad. All while doing things differently. Whether working from home, zoom meetings, or distancing from coworkers. We have continued doing our jobs and done so in fine fashion.
The labor movement and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) will also continue on, and also in fine fashion. We are a tough, resilient group of diverse people. We fight through difficult times and prevail. This time now will be no different. I thank you all for being part of Local Union 10 IBEW and the labor movement. Enjoy your Labor Day!
