Merry Christmas: What Brotherhood means to me

A Special Christmas Message from Leo Yanez, Business Manager
Brothers and Sisters, the holidays are rolling in and there is no place to hide, so be out there and enjoy it.  I want to thank you for making me a part of your lives and I want to thank you for allowing me to be your Brother.   I would like to share with you some perspective on what it means to me, to be my brother.
Brotherhood is meeting someone for the first time and already having a strong connection to do anything for them.  Brotherhood is going anywhere where the IBEW logo is displayed and walk trough the door and feel welcome. Brotherhood is working side by side with someone you have never meet before, towards the same goal with the same values and conviction.  Brotherhood is living the oath as thousands of others before us have,  and when challenged - rise to the occasion and stand side by side for what the membership believes.  Brotherhood is difficult to explain because those who are part of it cannot express it enough and those who are not, will never quite understand.
May God bless your homes and family on this Joyous time of the year.  Receive a very Merry Christmas from me and your Local officers and staff and may the New Year be filled with happiness and good fortune.
