From myself, the officers of L.U. 10, the office staff, and members of Local 10, a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all who have served in the Armed Services. Your personal sacrifices have made the world a better place and it's greatly appreciated. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, was declared between the allied nations and Germany in the First World War, then known as "the Great War." Commemorated as "Armistice Day", November 11th became a legal federal holiday in 1938. In the aftermath of the Korean War and World War II, Armistice Day became Veterans Day, a holiday dedicated to American Veterans of all wars.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE from all of Local 10 IBEW. Please be safe at work and home. Look out for those you work with.
