Working from Home

Many people are now working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, millions of workers are working from home. I recently saw an article about how busy private detectives now are. Corporations are now taking extra steps to ensure that the employees they are paying are, in fact, at home and doing what they are supposed to be doing. If a worker can't be gotten ahold of by a supervisor, private detectives are being employed to see what they are actually doing.

Teleworking has also sparked demand for software to monitor employees. Now, sixteen percent of companies are already using such software. Also, there has been a forty percent increase in companies asking for more monitoring software. Surveillance software can come in many forms, such as attention tracking software or software that can take screengrabs at any time.

So many have lost jobs due to the pandemic, there is little sympathy from corporations for those who are not doing what they are being paid to do.

So remember, you are being monitored by those that employ you. People get so used to being surveilled that they forget about it. Whether it is GPS, recording phones, surveillance software, private detectives, etc. You are being watched. So please, be where you are supposed to be and doing what you are being paid to do.
